Young lawyers who come to visit us for the first time are often astonished at the fact that we do not appear to be “typical attorneys” after all. Because we like to lose the cufflinks every now and then.
Moreover, they are astonished at the broad variety of our area of expertise, which is not at all limited to procurement regulations, but extends into civil law, cartel law, public servant aid law, IT law and many other fields of law as well as into numerous industries and institutions.
They are astonished at the “whiff of world affairs” that is in the air – for where we advise big decisions are made, and whoever retains us has to award a lot.
They are astonished how quickly even newbies get in touch with our clients and decision makers and how much responsibility is placed on them at an early stage.
And finally, they are astonished how efficiently all that works within a flat hierarchy and loyal cooperation.
We are happy about that astonishment. For we know – it never ends.
